Art and Technology

Art has been with me ever since my childhood. At any mood, rather I’m stressed or calm, I’ll draw.

As my art skills improved over time, so did my personal life. As an art kid, I was emotional and anxious, it was hard for me to make friends or even having a conversation with someone without

getting nervous. However, APAD (AP art and design or AP art studio) has helped me overcome my social anxiety. Unlike other school projects, I was able to use my skills as an artist and apply them

into my projects. There was rarely any restrictions or rules. You can express your feelings through many types of media: acrylic, watercolor, digital. But none of these compare to animation. Many

people view animation as something to entertain kid but that’s not true; its not a genre but an art form or a medium. That’s why I want to be part of that community as an animator at Dreamworks Studio. Unlike Disney or Pixar, Dreamworks is virtually  unique storytelling. Words can’t express

how much animation means to me. So I’m working hard to not to make profit of my art, but to entertain others with my unique art, rather its animation or painting.

Education

Art has been an integral part of my development during my childhood, it provided me with a hobby to turn to when faced with any struggle in my life. Art also provided me with connections to close people in my life that are similar to me. I believe art gives a lot of opportunities, especially to children. This is part of the reason why I want to major in Education and minor in an art-related course. I would want to educate kids on fine-arts and help provide them support to pursue a passion in creating.

Fine Arts

Art has always been part of my family. I really don't know where it started, it just always has been there. It was natural for me and my sister to fall in love with it. We both are incredible artists, just in

our own way. She is more of a realistic drawer, she is amazing at copying a picture exactly how it is shown. I think more of why and how I draw. I love all arts, literature, plastic arts, theater, dance, and

music so I try to include them in my art, even by just making it more meaningful. Art is a part of me, and I want it  to continue being a part of me. That is why I want to keep studying it.
